Acting Associate Deputy Comptroller for the East Region

Jesse Anderson is the Acting Associate Deputy Comptroller for the East Region at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

In this role, Mr. Anderson serves as an expert advisor to the Deputy Comptroller for Community Bank Supervision on all financial institution matters and provides executive direction for Midsize and Community Bank Supervision operations including bank and thrift supervision and personnel management.

Prior to the Acting Associate Deputy Comptroller role, Mr. Anderson served as the Assistant Deputy Comptroller in the Syracuse office. Mr. Anderson started his OCC career in 2006 as an Assistant National Bank Examiner in Syracuse and has served in various positions in Midsize and Community Bank Supervision, Large Bank Supervision, and Commercial Credit Risk Policy. Mr. Anderson earned his National Bank Examiner commission in 2010 and was cross-credentialed as a Federal Thrift Regulator in 2013.

Mr. Anderson also held various community bank positions prior to joining the OCC. Mr. Anderson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in economics from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
