OCC to Hold Hearing on Charges Against Former Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. Executives

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) commenced a public hearing before an Administrative Law Judge on Monday, September 13, 2021, in Sioux Falls, S.D. As part of the public hearing, the OCC is litigating enforcement actions against Claudia Russ Anderson, former Community Bank Group Risk Officer, David Julian, former Chief Auditor, and Paul McLinko, former Executive Audit Director of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Sioux Falls, S.D.
The September in-person portions of the hearing have concluded.
In October, the Administrative Law Judge will hear testimony from witnesses who have elected to testify at the hearing remotely. The schedule of testimony will be posted to this site as soon as dates become available.
In November, any remaining in-person testimony will be heard by the Administrative Law Judge in the Schulte Theater location at the Washington Pavilion, 301 South Main Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57104. The November hearing dates are November 8 - 12, 2021, and November 15 - 18, 2021.

Please note that limited portions of the hearing may be closed to the public because disclosure would be contrary to the public interest. Pursuant to 12 C.F.R. 19.33(b), the Administrative law judge is required to take all appropriate steps to preserve the confidentiality of documents Enforcement Counsel has filed under seal, including closing portions of the public hearing. When the hearing is in closed session, the Zoom link will have a posted notice indicating the court is in closed session.
