Interagency Banker Roundtable: Hurricane Michael Disaster Recovery in the Florida Panhandle (Panama City, FL - January 29, 2019)
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta are hosting a forum in Panama City, Florida on January 29, 2019. The forum will discuss Hurricane Michael post-disaster recovery needs in the Florida Panhandle, including housing, small business, and community services. The forum will also include an overview of how the Community Reinvestment Act gives banks consideration for disaster recovery activities and discuss opportunities for financial institution partnerships in community recovery and rebuilding. Reinventing Communities by Putting the "Opportunity" into Opportunity Zones (Lafayette, LA - February 6, 2019) 
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Acadiana Planning Commission are co-sponsoring a community development forum in Lafayette, Louisiana on February 6, 2019. The forum is designed for banks, CDFIs, governmental agencies, and non-profits to discuss the Opportunity Zone program and how it encourages private investments in low-income urban and rural communities. CRA Workshop "Beyond the Basics" (Kansas City, MO - March 26, 2019)
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City are co-sponsoring an advanced CRA workshop for bankers in Kansas City, Missouri on March 26, 2019. This is a knowledge-sharing event tailored for experienced CRA Officers. The training provides a discussion of self-assessment, performance context, and how a bank can assess community development needs. Case studies will be used to provide realistic scenarios as discussion background.
