- Capital Policy strives to ensure that regulatory capital requirements adequately reflect risk.
- In coordination with other U.S. regulators and international standard setters, the OCC identifies and develops policies to address emerging risks to bank capital.
- Additionally, Capital Policy is focused on international policy coordination to help foster financial stability through strong bank supervision and regulation, including effective implementation of Basel Committee on Banking Supervision standards and advancing banking supervision.
